Parrhouses Ltd. is owned and managed by Dominic Parr and was started in 1983. We were early pioneers, always making sure our houses were warm and comfortable and giving our tenants a proper, old fashioned “customer is always right” service. We only ever buy properties in the most central locations with generous bedroom sizes and amenities.
Providing excellent customer service has always been and remains our main driving force, nearly 30 years on and we are a true “family” business only renting out the houses we own. We understand what a big step it is signing on to your first house and how scary the financial implications can seem and we will help you make sense of it. We also appreciate that you deserve to be treated with respect having entrusted us with the job of providing a home for you. We aim to be very flexible in the way we deal with you. If there is something within reason that you think would make your lives better and improve the house we are happy to help.
We have a core team of 3 who take care of the day-to-day management of the business but with selected contractors who we have worked with for many years, this swells to over 30 to take care of the huge amount of remedial work or renovations required every summer to keep our properties in top condition. We trust all our workmen implicitly and can be confident that your privacy will be respected at all times.
Our houses are all thoroughly insulated and double glazed with modern boilers which make them very cheap to heat in the winter and we have EPC’s (Energy Performance Certificates) as required by law on each property. We also supply and fit energy saving lightbulbs as standard and give you up to date advice on how to cut down on energy use to save you money.
All our houses have the relevant gas and electrical safety checks as well as having HMO licences for bigger houses.
Our tenants appreciate what we do for them and leave the house in a good state at the end of the year – we pay back the vast majority of damage deposits at the end of the tenancy without deduction. Your deposits will be insured via Tenancy Deposit Solutions, a government backed company.
